How to pay
BNIT will advise of methods of payment when an Offer of Place is sent.
Paying by bank draft or cheque
A bank draft (or bank cheque) may be purchased from any bank. The bank draft should be made out to Brisbane North Institute of TAFE. When sending your bank draft to BNIT, ensure that you write your name, date of birth and course of study on the back of the draft (if you are paying on behalf of someone else, write the student's name, date of birth and course of study as well). This information is included with your Offer of Place.
Paying by EFTPOS or cash
EFTPOS (cheque or savings) card or cash payments can be made at the front counters at BNIT's Bracken Ridge, Caboolture or Ithaca campus.
Paying by international money transfer (IMT)
This involves instructing your bank to credit TAFE Queensland's bank account by international money transfer.
BNIT's bank account details are:
Bank: Commonwealth Bank of Australia, 240 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000, Australia
Account Name: DETA VET Controlled Account
Branch number: 064-013
Account number: 1000 0871
Please forward an additional AUD$20 to cover bank charges.
Please note that if you choose to send fees by IMT, you will need to instruct the bank to attach an identifying reference with the transaction. This reference should state: BNIT, followed by student name and date of birth. Payments without this reference are almost impossible to trace and can cause delay to the enrolment process.
You are also required to mail/fax the details of your international money transfer to BNIT. This information is included with your Offer of Place.
Paying by credit card
When paying by credit card, include the following details:
-
type of credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard)
-
card number
-
card expiry date
-
card holder's name
-
card holder's signature
-
photocopy both the front and the back of the credit card
-
amount to be paid
-
student's name
-
student's date of birth
-
student's course of study.
Please use the credit card Payment Authorisation Form attached to your Offer of Place to forward these details to BNIT.
If you are applying to study via an agency, then it is likely that they will forward your tuition fees on your behalf.
