  • have your Statutory Declaration certified (signed) by a Justice of the Peace; and
  • return all documentation with appropriate payment where necessary.

    • What should I do if my award is lost, damaged, or destroyed?

BNIT can make arrangements to reprint your award on request. Payment of a replacement fee will be required in most circumstances.

    • What should I do if my award was issued, but never received?

BNIT can make arrangements to reprint your award on request. Please note 'Not received' as the reason for needing your award re-issued. Payment of a replacement fee will not typically be required, however if it is determined that the address supplied to BNIT by the student concerned was incorrect or out of date, a replacement fee may still be payable.

    • What if my award is stamped with 'Outstanding Fees'?

Once all outstanding or written-off fees owed to BNIT are paid, arrangements can be made to reprint your award on request. Payment of a replacement fee will be required in most circumstances.

    • Requesting an Academic History

Any current or past student is welcome to request an official Academic History. Payment of a fee to cover costs in producing this document will be required in most circumstances.

Requests to produce an Academic History can be made by visiting one of the four campus-based Customer Service and Information Centres during opening hours. You may also call our Customer Service Contact Centre on 131 248, where your request will be forwarded to the BNIT Academic Hub for further attention and you will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss payment arrangements.

As this document details results for all TAFE Queensland providers, it can be issued by any TAFE Queensland Institute. It should be noted that other TAFE Institutes may have different processes and charges associated with producing this document.

    • Accessing or requesting an Academic Advisement Transcript

There are a number of ways to arrange access to an unofficial Academic Advisement Transcript. For example, you can request a copy of this transcript by visiting one of the four campus-based Customer Service and Information Centres during opening hours or by calling 131 248.

Academic Advisement Transcripts can also be produced by accessing your online account via the Student Self Service website. To find out more about accessing and using the TAFE Queensland Student Self Service website, please see student self service. Once you have logged in to the site, you can view and print a copy of your transcript by selecting 'Academic Records' from the menu and selecting 'View Unofficial Transcript' - this produces a PDF document which can be viewed on-screen and printed if needed.
