Animal science
BNIT offers a range of courses within the animal science field that will enable you to establish, or build upon, a career within a zoo, wildlife or theme park environment, or veterinary clinic. We also offer Companion Animal Services, a program that will provide you with a range of skills to work in kennels, catteries, pet shops, grooming salons and veterinary practices.
Additionally, there are short course options available in reptiles and amphibians and aqua-scapes, for fish hobbyists.
Career opportunities
Many opportunities exist in animal science related fields as a result of undertaking one of our study programs. You could work as a wildlife carer or operator in a zoo, wildlife or theme park environment. Or alternatively you could pursue a career in a veterinary setting, as a:
