This course will qualify you to service, maintain and repair heavy earthmoving and agricultural machinery as well as large marine engines, heavy lift vehicles and stationary plant equipment. You would be generally involved in the setting up of machinery to enable the manufacture of engineering products; repair and replacement of components; design and manufacture of modifications to existing components parts; maintenance of plant and equipment; and construction and commissioning work. Graduates of this program will have employment opportunities in the engineering industry as a general mechanical engineering tradesperson such as a fitter and turner. Course details
