Looking for a career working with children?

Have you always wanted a career working with children but don’t know where to start? A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is the entry level qualification required to work in the early childhood education and care sector.

This course will give you a good understanding of the approved learning framework used in early childhood education in Australia. You will learn how to support the holistic development of babies, toddlers and children in early childhood, and how to contribute to a healthy and safe environment for them. You will gain an understanding of how to appropriately deal with people from other cultures, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Emergency first aid is also included in the course.

The link below includes some useful information about the early childhood and what is required to be an educator in the different sectors including kindergarten, family day care, outside school hours care, or long day care: http://deta.qld.gov.au/earlychildhood/workforce/workforce-action-plan/inspire-the-future/index.html Course details
