The Caboolture campus provides extensive training options for the burgeoning population in the northern corridor servicing Caboolture, the Sunshine Coast, Glasshouse Mountains and Bribie Island. There has been a TAFE presence in Caboolture since 1989.
QUT is co-located with Brisbane North Institute of TAFE at the Tallon Street, Caboolture campus, offering university and TAFE courses from one location. The campus is growing with new building development to meet the needs of the community.
Currently the Caboolture campus offers training in business, management, justice administration, business administration, aged care, nursing, community and human services, information technology, literacy, language and migrant education, hairdressing, hospitality, horticulture and vocational access. The campus also houses Isabella's Restaurant/Coffee Shop and Swish's Hairdressing Salon - both of which are open to the public.
Caboolture boasts some of South East Queensland's most renowned and recognised attractions - the pristine waters of the Pumicestone Passage, the sandy ocean beaches of Bribie Island and the impressive mountain backdrop of the D'Aguilar Range.
You can also experience the internationally recognised Woodford Folk Festival, the fabulous QUT Urban Country Music Festival and Australia's most authentic medieval festival.
Discover a world of choice with Caboolture's four tourism regions - Bribie Island, one of Australia's most accessible sand islands; the country charm of Woodford - Mt Mee; Caboolture central, with its excellent retail shopping and parklands; and the delights of the local coastal villages.
