Bracken Ridge campus is about 20km from the city centre and sits in leafy surrounds amongst a backdrop of green rolling hills on Norris Road. The campus is easily accessible and well serviced with public transport.
Bracken Ridge campus includes an art studio, computer labs, a learning information centre, food science laboratory, Polaris - a state of the art kitchen, restaurant and bar, library and a 200 seat lecture theatre. The campus also hosts the Crest Point practice firm.
Bracken Ridge has a semi-rural, laid-back feel and you'll find timber and older-style homes as well as more modern brick and tile structures in the area. There are plenty of great dining options in and around Bracken Ridge. If you're looking for a local cafe, take-away, pub or restaurant you'll find it here.
Recreational facilities in the local area include the Bill Brown Cricket Ground, numerous parks and bike and walk ways.
Public transport in the area is good, with regular bus routes supplemented by easy access to the Bruce Highway and the Gateway Motorway.
Driving
Heading north on the Gympie Road Arterial, take the Hoyland Street exit. Follow Holyland Street which becomes Bracken Ridge Road. Turn right at the major intersection of Bracken Ridge Road and Norris Road. Campus parking is well serviced on the campus and is free.
Public Transport
Brisbane Transport and Queensland Rail Citytrain operate fully integrated bus and rail services from both the city and Carseldine rail station directly to Bracken Ridge campus.
