Staff remote access

BNIT staff can access the BNIT computer Administration Network remotely via their home computer or any laptop or device with internet access.

Please note: Staff must first register and set up their Remote Access PIN from a work computer before they can login and access the BNIT network remotely.

Step 1: Log a call to Unisys and request to be set-up for Remote Staff Access to the BNIT Administration Network (You will need to provide a valid mobile number on which you can receive a Security Token Number to be used in the log on process)

Step 2: Once you have received advice from Unisys that you have been set up, access the RSA Self Service system on the staff intranet to set up your PIN.

Please note: This information and website is only available via the BNIT staff intranet, so must be accessed from a computer while at work.

Step 3: Once you have set up your RSA PIN, you can access the BNIT network remotely.  To login in you will need your usual computer Username, Password and PIN for remote access.

Step 4: When at your remote computer or laptop, go to the following web address: https://www.bnr2.tafe.qld.gov.au

Step 5: Login using your Username, Password and PIN.

When these details have been validated, you will receive a Security Token on the mobile phone you have nominated to Unisys.
Follow the prompts to enter the Security Token.

You should now be logged on to the BNIT administration network.

Follow the prompts to access drives, folders and applications you desire.
